i have played guitar for over 40 years. while i don’t talk a lot about it, i love teaching and have always tried to make time for a handful of students.

i’ve learned pretty much everything i know about playing guitar from learning other people's songs.

therefore, i teach the 'song by song' method: you choose the song (absolutely any song, including mine if you want), i will precisely learn it and teach it to you, at or just beyond your current skill level (on the fun side of challenging), teaching lots of playing fundamentals as we go.

i offer weekly, bi-weekly, and one-off lessons (via zoom, including rewatch links).

due to my touring schedule, i mainly only teach on tuesdays and wednesdays.
